Maureen Abigail Khalili

Welcome to Chime Charter Middle School! My name is Maureen Abigail L. Khalili. This year will be my third year teaching at Chime Charter Middle School where I will teach the sixth grade Math and one section of Social Studies. I studied at University of Phoenix where I obtained my degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I also enjoyed completing my teaching credentials at California State University of Northridge where I minored in the Early Childhood Program. Prior to teaching, I was working with a car dealership where I did accounting duties. This job allowed me to enhance my math skills.
I am so grateful and truly excited to be working with you and your child during the upcoming school year.

As a teacher, it is my mission to encourage children to experience the world and continue learning throughout their lives. I would like to begin by stating that I am a life-long learner. I am bilingual and very much enthused about our multicultural society and the need for our children to have an interactive role in it.

I hope this year will be both successful and enjoyable for you. I truly do consider students, teachers, and parents a part of the team. Together we can make the transition to Middle School successful.

Homework

One hour of homework is recommended daily for sixth graders. If a student completes all work in class, it is still wise to study or read for one hour. This prepares the students for Middle School.
